About Rault Resources
The Rault Resources Group of Louisiana is a family-owned and operated commercial real estate development company. Rault specializes in owning and managing several Class A office buildings. We have been in real estate development/management for over 40 years, during which time we have obtained over $200 million in properties. Rault Resources presently operates three commercial office buildings: the Rault Office Building and the 110 Building, both in the Metairie/Metropolitan New Orleans area, and Park Tower in Lafayette. We pride ourselves on our positive relationship with over 100 tenants in diverse fields who maintain offices with us, and always strive our best to ensure their satisfaction.
Joseph Rault
President
Joseph M Rault, a native New Orleanean, is a graduate of MIT and Tulane University School of Law and served in the United States Navy. After specializing in Admiralty, Maritime, Oil and Gas law practice he contracted with the government of Mexico to drill wells for Petrolous Mexicanos in its native country, after which he engaged in oil production activities in Venezuela. He was cofounder of an offshore marine service company that became Tidewater Marine.
On the real estate side, he developed the original Rault Center, a multipurpose office complex in the city of New Orleans together with other real estate and multi-family complex developments in Louisiana and Mississippi. He is President of Rault Resources Group, which owns and operates three major office buildings in the Metairie-Kenner corridor and Lafayette.
He is a Director of the Jefferson Chamber, a member of the Jefferson Business Council, a Director of Jefferson Parish Pump-to-the-River Taskforce in which capacity has testified before Congress on flood control, and has served as a member of the Board of Regents for Loyola University, member of MIT Energy Institute, Cambridge, MA, a member of the Sugar Bowl Committee, and is now a member of the Board of Directors of the Ochsner Health Foundation. He and his family are residents of Jefferson Parish in the Metairie suburb of the Greater New Orleans area.
